This striking locality was originally collected in the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic. In this ‘Punta Cana’ line, many individuals have a unique, nearly metallic appearance, while a small proportion resemble normal wild types. They appreciate good ventilation and a moisture gradient, just as you would expect from this species.
